Well, it’s like this. Your world is what you make it. So I’ve made mine a scintilla of the transcendental object at the end of time. What you’ll see in my feed is mostly technology, politics and various forms of research. All with a mythological element of wild subconscious, constructive thought and creativity.

My world is the future. I’m busy living it into effect. Some of it may seem imaginative. Some fantasy. Some outright delusional. Think of it what you may. I’m enjoying watching humanity working it out. In my world we get it right and we’re already doing it. There’s only a few media magnates and a particular cohort of politicians pretending otherwise. Talk to anyone in the street and they know the social construct has had its day. It’s a lie. The fabrication of money and privatisation and Grand Caymans accounts. It’s all bullshit.

The solutions are already apparent in community endeavours like Transition Towns and open source technology. Business has already begun poaching ideas from the community level in an effort to adapt. Perhaps it’s our purpose to create brilliant ideas that corporations and politics can pick up on and carry us into a world where we get it right? Where we avoid Armageddon and post-apocalyptic dystopia that the media presents as our only alternative to business as usual.

So how do we live like it’s the future and we got it right?

Good question. How will we do that? šŸ˜‰

Let’s figure it out together!

Hi Jane, thanks for the tweet re Schapelle. I run The Women for Schapelle blog. They shouldn’t mess with us witches, should they? I’m a pagan too, plus feminist & greenie, and a great fan of Starhawk’s stuff (I met her when she came to Australia a few years ago).
