There’s been a few tweets and links shared this morning about satellite imagery of the ocean currents in the Gulf of Mexico and the Eastern seaboard of the US.
Apparently now the effect has spread further into the Atlantic ocean.
There’s little in the way of reliable links on these articles, the satellite images aren’t as clear as we’d like them to be. Apparently there are some changes in the annual or seasonal flow of the oceanic currents.
I must admit to being a bit of a sceptic when it comes to things like HAARP, FEMA camps and teh new world order… The absence of authoritative sources in this case does corrode it’s legitimacy. However, humans have been sc3wing the planet in a big way for quite a while now and the spraying of thousands of litres of chemical dispersants into oil laden sea water is an absolute catastrophe.
The gulf currents have been in the news previously, when a group of oceanographers were concerned that rises in global temperatures might disrupt the current and result in an ice age. As happens with complex modelling, the theory was disputed and the world did not end just then.
It’s not like we could do anything about it anyway. There’s no way to know what effects a change in the current could really have, how soon it would occur or how long it would last. Add to which any information about it is going to be so badly affected by spin and vested interests as to be pretty worthless.
I’m going to file this one under “just one more reason to get stuck into permaculture.”
