Europe going Green

Okay, well this was an interesting experiment in sharing articles from Science Daily… It didn’t have quite the anticipated results, hence this little edit.

Not only are entire towns in Germany now powered by solar panels on rooftops, the whole of the European Union is installing and transitioning to Green energy at a great rate. 62% of the new electricity capacity created in 2009 was renewable energy.

Australia now has no excuse. If snowy Germany can run cities and towns on solar, including peak demand, why aren’t we?
